This painting is the sixth in a series of six small paintings of rocks. One day while fishing I found it interesting what lies beneath the surface of the water and decided to paint the little things I saw. All of the paintings in this series are from the perspective of looking straight down near my feet.
Another interesting thing is these paintings don't have to be hung one way for their entire lives.
